Managing Partner & Co-Founder
Pete brings over 17 years of seasoned expertise to the real estate investment industry, a journey that began with the acquisition of a Hawaiian condo in 2006. His wide-ranging experience encompasses rentals, fix and flips, wholesaling, and lending, showcasing his versatility in the field. Prior to his role in co-founding Longleaf, Pete made significant strides in investment banking over a decade, managing over $25 billion in transactions across various sectors. His career is further distinguished by 7 years of service in the U.S. Navy. Pete’s academic background includes an MBA from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M. A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he is married with two daughters.

Matt Weidert
Managing Partner & Co-Founder
Since 2019, Matt has been at the forefront of direct lending to Texas real estate investors, successfully facilitating over 40 loans before co-founding Longleaf Lending. His career trajectory includes a pivotal role as Vice President in investment banking, where he specialized in the energy sector smd in Houston. Matt's diverse professional background is further enriched by his tenure at Shell and his service as a Captain in the Marine Corps, which included multiple deployments to Afghanistan and the Middle East. Academically, he is well-equipped with an MBA from Rice University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado. Originally from California, Matt is married with a son and a daughter.

Keith, a native of Houston, Texas, possesses an intimate understanding of the local real estate market. With three years in real estate investing, he has successfully completed over 35 property flips, showcasing his expertise and dedication. Before venturing into investing, Keith honed his skills as a licensed real estate agent, where he impressively managed to complete over 225 real estate transactions.
